Highlight of this training week was an 11 mile run along The Grand Union Canal. Starting at Narborough Road, Gracie and I ran out 5.5 miles ending up in South Wigston before turning round and heading back.
Target = 27 miles
Monday – 1m warm up + 6m at high tempo
Tuesday – 5m interval/track run
Wed/Thurs – rest
Friday – 5 miles steady
Saturday – 11m slow run
Total = 28 miles
